Fatih Schueler Faces the Heartbreak She Can't Outrun In New Single "Goodbye Thing"

Country artist and South Carolina native Faith Schueler releases her new heartbreaker of a single, "Goodbye Thing," now available on all streaming platforms.

"Goodbye Thing" is a track that feels all too familiar in the midst of a breakup, capturing the exhausting push-and-pull of a love she knows she needs to leave behind-but keeps getting drawn back into. Through vivid country storytelling and vulnerability, Faith lays out the cycle of unanswered questions, late-night calls, and emotional whiplash that define an on-again, off-again relationship. After debuting the song live at the Bluebird Cafe to an overwhelming audience response, releasing it felt undeniable.

"'Goodbye Thing' captures the emotion of the hot and cold relationship, which I feel like many people can relate to. Sometimes it is so hard to let go of the person you love but you know isn't good for you," Faith shares. "The music and the melodies were written to give a sense of nostalgia and a summer fling feeling. Being from Charleston, SC I really wanted to write this song about Carolina memories and capture the beauty of summer in South Carolina."

Co-written by Faith Schueler, Jason Saenz, and Ellis Melillo, the song paints the portrait of someone torn between what her head knows and what her heart keeps chasing. With its honest lyrics and emotive delivery, "Goodbye Thing" becomes an anthem for anyone who has tried to say goodbye-only to end up right back where they started.

Faith continues to build a powerful presence within country music. She has shared stages with major acts including Lady A, Scotty McCreery, Tyler Rich, Matt Stell, and Hank Williams Jr.. She has performed everywhere from the Grand Ole Opry to the Carolina and Greenville Country Music Festivals. She has also collaborated with top Nashville songwriters such as Charles Kelley, Eric Paslay, and Marcus Hummon. She remains an active member of Nashville's Song Suffragettes and The Women of Country, who named her an Artist to Watch for 2025. Her music continues to resonate far beyond her Carolina roots, earning placements across top-curated platforms including CMA, CMT, Holler, Sweety High, and Galore.

With her star on a steady rise and a sound anchored in honesty and heart, Faith Schueler is quickly solidifying herself as one to watch. Listen to her new single "Goodbye Thing" now on all streaming platforms.
