SoFi, CMA Launch $200,000 Contest For Emerging Artists With Kelsea Ballerini

SoFi partnered with the Country Music Association and Kelsea Ballerini to launch the "Amplify Your Ambitions" contest for emerging musicians. Artists can compete for a grand prize of $200,000 or two runner-up prizes of $50,000 each through April 30th. Three finalists will perform at an exclusive Nashville concert on June 4, where judges including Ballerini, financial expert Vivian Tu, and songwriter Shane McAnally will select the winner alongside public voting. "I know firsthand how much it takes to build a career in music, especially when you're funding it on your own," Ballerini said. SoFi notes 75% of artists self-fund their careers, with over half carrying debt from creative pursuits. Contestants must be 18 or older, U.S. residents with SoFi accounts.
