Shaboozey revealed plans for his fourth studio album, The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales, set for July 31st release. The concept record tells a continuous narrative about Cherie Lee, who witnesses her sheriff father's murder by the Bootcut Boys and embarks on a revenge mission. "It's a western about revenge told continuously through every song, centered on the character Cherie Lee," Shaboozey explained in a statement. The storyline follows Lee as she falls for one of the outlaws during her quest, culminating in a choice between blood and love. Shaboozey describes the project as exploring themes of "revenge, redemption, and romance" while showcasing his evolution as a storyteller. The lead single "Born To Die" drops Friday, with an immersive saloon experience planned for Stagecoach festival.
