Red Street Records' rising Country newcomer Taylor Austin Dye released her latest track, "Little Green Men," available everywhere today (LISTEN). As a special Veterans Day tribute, today's release seeks to honor female veterans and tells a powerful story of a solider who made the ultimate sacrifice defending her country. The chorus sings,
"Stars and Stripes in her bright blue eyes / She took that call and took her pride / She was ready to fight and ready to die / To keep Old Glory flying high / Just a little girl, little dream back then / She couldn't wait to fight like the little green men"
Written and co-produced by Dye, together with Stone Aielli (co-writer) and Lex Lipsitz (co-producer), today's "Little Green Men" sheds light on the deeper side of Taylor's diverse, multi-dimensional artistry. Known for her heavy-hitters like viral smash "Rest In Peace" and her most recent single, "Damn Good Day" (LISTEN), Dye changes course and delivers a stripped down, soul-stirring tear-jerker with today's "Little Green Men."
Dye shares, "I wrote this song for the women whose courage often goes unsung. There aren't enough stories about them, and I wanted to shine a light on their strength and sacrifice. Veterans Day felt like the most meaningful time to let their story be heard."
