Tyler Childers Reveals His Wife Is Expecting Their Second Child

Grammy-winning country star Tyler Childers revealed that he and his wife Senora May are expecting their second child this summer, while also criticizing the planned closure of Fort Logan Hospital's birthing center in Stanford, Kentucky. "In Sept of 2022, Senora gave birth to our baby boy here. We were intending on going here for the birth of our second baby, who we are expecting later this summer," Childers wrote on his Instagram Story on Wednesday (Feb. 11). The birthing center where the couple's first child was born is set to close on February 16th as Ephraim McDowell Health moves their services to nearby Danville. Dr. Jay Miller, who helped found the center forty years ago, warned that "20 minutes to Danville for our patients and 20 minutes to us after they call us is too long for emergencies." Childers called the center "a vital part of maternal care in the Stanford area" and "a top notch medical facility that Kentucky should be proud of."
