Zach John King Capitalizes On Opening Shows For Morgan Wallen As His Career Takes Off

Zach John King moved to Nashville in 2021 to pursue songwriting while working at The Twelve Thirty Club restaurant. Now signed with Sony Music Nashville, the 28-year-old country singer landed coveted opening slots on Morgan Wallen's Still the Problem Tour after Wallen discovered his music on TikTok. King's new single, "Get to Drinkin'," has just been sent to radio, with the track co-written with ACM Songwriter of the Decade winner Rhett Akins, alongside Kyle Sturrock, Thomas Archer, and Kyle Fishman. Before music, King worked as a behavioral therapist in Athens, Georgia, providing Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy for children with autism. King is set to open shows for Luke Bryan, Riley Green, and Jon Pardi in 2026, while also playing a high-profile set at Stagecoach. "You have to be ready, you have to be focused," King says about performing with top-tier artists. "There's no margin for anything other than the best we got."
