- Pointing a Firearm at Another, a Level 6 Felony
- Auto Theft of Entire Motor Vehicle, a Level 6 Felony

Officers were dispatched to Circle K at the 2200 block of North County Rd. 600 W in Greenfield on June 14 at approximately 12:05 a.m. on a report of a person with a gun. The caller believed that she was robbed after Palmero said some things under his breath and allegedly pointed a gun at her under his shirt over a bag of potato chips. The suspect, and two other teens, left in a blue Hyundai sedan.
After spotting the car, authorities attempted to stop the vehicle for driving erratically at around County Rd. 500. His vehicle, which was stolen, allegedly reached speeds of 90 mph while he drove through multiple yards until he crashed into a median, then fell into a ditch.
Upon crashing the vehicle, three individuals left the scene and took off on foot. The suspects then surrendered after repeated announcements, drone activity, and K9 units being deployed.
Palmero, and two additional individuals were handcuffed. The other two people were found to be juvenile teens who were released to their parents. The officer informed at least one parent that they would be contacted further in reference to the minor being criminally charged.
Law enforcement later found an AR-15 style rifle on the floorboard of the stolen vehicle.
This is an active investigation. Information will be updated as it becomes available.
