YORKTOWN, Ind. - A Delaware County woman was arrested after she allegedly bit her own daughter.
Daqueel Hall, 26, was charged with Battery on a Juvenile, a Level 5 Felony.
Officers with the Muncie Police Department received a report with pictures from the Department of Child Services on Feb. 14, that alleged that Hall battered her daughter. On Thursday, May 1, the 5-year-old girl was taken to a expanded forensic interview where she reportedly disclosed that her mother physically attacked.
The victim said that her mom bit her on the face and used a stick to scratch the inside of her legs, according to court documents.
Officers dispatched to the 2400 block of Vine St. and brought Hall for an interview with the police department. She could not give an explanation for the marks on her daughters body. However, Hall did claim that her daughter was manipulated by her current foster care givers and DCS.
Upon completion of the interview, Hall was arrested for battery on a person under the age of 14.
Hall was transported to the Delaware County Jail.
