Dozens arrested in Howard County during 'Operation Not So Fast'

HOWARD COUNTY, Ind. - A year long investigation in Howard County has led to the arrest of approximately 15 'high-priority' individuals allegedly involved in drug trafficking, as well as 36 additional individuals.




Operation Not So Fast, conducted from Aug. 2024 - Aug. 2025, focused on reported criminal networks contributing to the spread of illegal narcotics, firearm offenses, and community violence.




The operation led to the following:

• The recovery of 7 illegally possessed firearms





• The seizure of approximately 10,000 Fentanyl laced M30 pills





• The confiscation of more than $25,000 in suspected drug proceeds





• 51+ arrest
