Driver dead after SUV crashes into north side house

INDIANAPOLIS - An investigation is underway after a man was killed after crashing an SUV into a north side residence Sunday morning.




According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just after 4 a.m., officers were called to the 7800 block of Delbrook Drive on the report of a personal injury crash.




When officers arrived on scene, they found a full-size SUV crashed into a house. The driver of the SUV was transported to an area hospital in critical condition, but later died from his injuries. No one else was injured in the crash, police said.




Investigators are still working to learn what led up to the crash. the incident remains under investigation.
