INDIANAPOLIS - A tow truck pulled a car out of a creek after a driver lost control and crashed Monday morning on the near east side.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the incident happened after 8 a.m. near English Avenue and E. Pleasant Run Parkway South Drive.
The Indianapolis Fire Department said a woman was driving eastbound on English Avenue when she hit some water on the road, hydroplaned and lost control.
The Chevy Malibu went into the creek and floated a short distance before crews pulled it out.
The woman was the only person inside the vehicle. No one was hurt, IFD said.
Video showed a tow truck carrying the vehicle away from the scene. The car had visible damage to the front side, and it appeared the back window was partially broken.
The incident remains under investigation.
