Fever announces starters, Clark not playing

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Fever has announced their starting lineup against the Washington Mystics on Saturday, and a fan favorite is absent from the list.




According to a press release from Indiana Fever Communications, the lineup is as follows:

• Sydney Colson - Guard





• Kelsey Mitchell - Guard





• DeWanna Bonner - Guard





• Natasha Howard - Forward





• Aliyah Boston - Center

Caitlin Clark, a guard for the team, is not one of the starters. On Friday, the Fever announced that she was "questionable" for play due to an unspecified left leg injury.




In a following update, the Fever specified that Clark would not play due to the aforementioned injury. They did not state how long she is expected to be out, nor when fans can expect the guard to return.
