Fever do not expect point guard Caitlin Clark to play against New York Liberty on Tuesday

INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana Fever coach Stephanie White does not expect point guard Caitlin Clark to play against the New York Liberty on Tuesday.

In press conference video released by the team, White explained that Clark is expected to undergo additional testing this week.

"Well, I haven't seen CC since the game last night, but you know, I think she's progressing," White said. "I think we're continuing to address everything that needs to be addressed. She's gonna see some doctors and get some more tests run earlier in the week. I don't expect her to be available on Tuesday.

"So, we're just going to continue to take it one day at a time, and let her get her evaluations early this week. Once we've done that, hopefully we're able to get more of a clearer line of what it looks like."

Clark suffered a groin injury during the Fever's game against the Connecticut Sun last week. The injury forced her to miss the WNBA All-Star Game and the WNBA 3-point Contest this weekend in Indianapolis.

Clark has been dealing with injury issues for much of the 2025 WNBA season. She's missed 10 of the 23 games Indiana has played this season. During that time, the Fever have posted a 12-11 overall record.

If Clark does, indeed, miss Indiana's game against the Liberty on Tuesday, her next chance to return to action will be Thursday, when the Fever take on the Las Vegas Aces at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
