Frankfort teacher under investigation for alleged relationship with student

FRANKFORT, Ind. - A high school teacher is under investigation for an alleged relationship with a student, according to a Facebook post from Community Schools of Frankfort.




Per CSF, a cyber-awareness presentation was provided at Frankfort High School on April 4. Following this presentation, a student reportedly told a trusted teacher that they had an inappropriate relationship with a high school teacher.




CSF wrote that they immediately contacted the Frankfort Police Department and the Department of Child Services "to ensure that proper protocols were followed."




That teacher was placed on administrative leave and brought in for questioning by the Frankfort Police Department. CSF added that their district superintendent plans to speak to the Board of School Trustees on Monday to cancel the teacher's contract.




The investigation remains ongoing.
