
AVON, Ind. -- A chase involving multiple law enforcement agencies ended after a car crashed into a utility pole in Avon on Wednesday afternoon.
Law enforcement agencies, including the Hendricks County Sheriff's Office, began a pursuit of a black vehicle at a gas station on Wednesday afternoon. The chase ended minutes later near the intersection of Raceway Road and U.S. 36.
Officials with the sheriff's office told FOX59/CBS4 that the black car hit another vehicle before it smashed into the pole. This resulted in extensive damage to the black vehicle's passenger side, a cracked windshield and the deployment of airbags.
Officials said that all individuals involved in the chase have been "accounted for and have non-life-threatening injuries." Two of the passengers were found in the car, and another was found after a brief foot chase. No other information was provided on potential arrests, nor the genders of the individuals.
The car that the black vehicle ran into caused non-life-threatening injuries to its occupants.
The chase, as well as the subsequent crash, continues to be under investigation.
