Expect another quiet but very warm start at sunrise, under partly cloudy skies. Out-the-door temperatures will range between the upper 60s and lower 70s for the morning rush hour. Roads look great and don't forget those sunglasses.
This afternoon will bring our third straight day of 90° weather, under partly cloudy skies with light, southwest winds at 6-11 mph. UVI remains very high, with a burn time beginning in 20 minutes. Any storm chance looks low (10%) today and mainly for the northern half of Indiana. Any storm that does develop will weaken quickly by the evening with loss of heating.
Tuesday could bring a better chance for thunderstorms by the afternoon and evening with a cold front approaching the state. Coverage will be a touch broader (50%) for the afternoon and evening and is welcomed news for the current dry stretch!
A slight drop in temperatures returns on Wednesday and Thursday, along with a drop in dew points, removing some the recent mugginess late workweek...before more 90s return for the last weekend at the Indiana State Fair!
