Another clear and pleasant start underway for the Hoosier State! Expect a bright sunrise, while temperatures for the rush hour hold in the 50s and lower 60s. Another sun-filled start with sunglasses needed in hand.
This afternoon will bring additional heat with highs reaching around 90° again today, with light winds and abundant sunshine.
More heat coming tomorrow (Friday) with a few added clouds, as highs reach the lower 90s, nearing the record high of 93°, set back in 1940.
A slow breakdown in the pattern begins on Saturday, as more clouds will begin to "puff up" and a spotty storm could drift across the state. Right now, coverage looks to be around 20%, so many of us will stay dry for the entire day.
Rain chances become more numerous on Sunday and into early next week! This is such great news, as the rainfall will help the abnormally dry conditions statewide, as of late, and aid in the numerous county burn bans that have popped up, over the past two weeks.
