INDIANAPOLIS -- One person is in critical condition after a reported stabbing in downtown Indianapolis on Monday morning.
According to officials with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of N. Pennsylvania Street and E. Washington Street around 11:54 a.m. on Monday on a call of a person stabbed.
When officers arrived at the scene, they reported located a person "with injuries consistent with trauma." The person was reported to be in critical condition.
Officials with IMPD said that an individual has been taken into custody. However, officials stressed that the individual's involvement, if any, was unclear at the time.
