
INDIANAPOLIS - One person was killed in a crash on the near northwest side of Indianapolis Saturday afternoon.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 2700 block of Pixel Drive - which is located just off Lafayette Road - around 3:14 p.m. to investigate a crash. When police arrived at the scene, they located a victim who had been critically injured in the crash.
Medics transported the victim from the scene to an area hospital, but the victim ultimately did not survive their injuries.
IMPD's fatal crash investigators responded to the scene. Police are expected to provide additional updates on the crash later Saturday afternoon.
A FOX59/CBS4 crew responded to the scene of the crash. It located a purple SUV that appeared to have crashed into a porch.
