INDIANAPOLIS - A person was killed in a shooting on the northeast of Indianapolis Saturday night.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 3900 block of Delmont Drive - which is located off of North Mitthoefer Road - around 10:55 p.m. to investigate a shooting. When police arrived at the scene, they located a victim with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
IMPD reported that the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is currently unclear if police have identified or detained any suspects or persons of interest at this point in their investigation of the shooting. As of this article's publication, no additional information on the shooting or the circumstances that led to it has been made available.
