IMPD: 1 seriously injured in shooting on Indy's east side

INDIANAPOLIS - One person is in serious condition after a shooting on the city's east side.




The Indianapolis Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred near the intersection of East 34th Street and North Shadeland Avenue around 8:40 p.m. on Thursday.




Once officers arrived, they found a victim with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. The victim is currently reported to be in serious condition.
