INDIANAPOLIS - Two people were injured in a shooting on the southwest side of Indianapolis Tuesday evening.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to the 6900 block of Stanley Road around 9:40 p.m. to investigate a shooting. When police arrived at the scene, they located two adult males with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
IMPD reported that the victims were both transported from the scene to an area hospital in stable condition.
Police indicated that they detained a person during their investigation of the shooting. It is currently unclear what role, if any, the detained individual played in the shooting.
