INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis Metro police are investigating after a male was shot and killed on the city's west side Thursday afternoon.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called shortly after 2 p.m. to the 2900 block of Rolling Dunes Drive in response to a report of a vehicle accident. IMPD said the run was later upgraded to a possible person shot while officers were en route.
IMPD said officers arrived on the scene and found one individual suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim, who IMPD identified as a male, was pronounced dead on the scene. As of this article's publication, IMPD has not confirmed the victim's age or provided any suspect information.
