IMPD: Person critically wounded in shooting on near north side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS - A person was critically injured in a shooting on the near north side of Indianapolis Wednesday night.




According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 200 block of West 38th Street around 8:45 p.m. to investigate a shooting. When police arrived at the scene, they located a victim with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.

IMPD reported that the victim is currently in critical condition.
