INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis metro police are investigating after a person was shot and critically wounded on the city's near southwest side Thursday afternoon.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called around 1:29 p.m. to the 2000 block of W. Morris Street in response to a report of a possible person shot. IMPD said officers arrived on the scene and found a person suffering from gunshot wounds.
They were last reported to be in critical condition after being transported to an area hospital, according to IMPD. No other information was immediately available.
