IMPD responds to deadly crash on southwest side

INDIANAPOLIS - Police are investigating a deadly crash on the southwest side of Indianapolis.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were dispatched around 3:15 a.m. Friday to W. Southport Road and Mann Road.
IMPD responds to a deadly crash on June 20, 2025 
They encountered a single-vehicle crash involving a fatality. IMPD said the intersection would remain closed for several hours for investigation and cleanup.
Drivers should take an alternate route.
The IMPD Fatal Crash Investigation Team has been called to the scene.
