IMPD searching for missing 2-year-old girl, 6-year-old boy last seen on Indy's far east side

INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are searching for a missing 2-year-old and 6-year-old last seen on Indy's far east side Thursday night.




In a post on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, IMPD confirmed that officers are seeking the public's assistance in finding Wendy, who they described as a 2-year-old light-skinned female. She was last seen around 7:45 p.m. near a playground in the 10000 block of Governours Lane wearing a pink shirt with gray pants.




IMPD confirmed around 9:30 p.m. that Wendy was accompanied by a 6-year-old boy, identified as Joseph Metilus. Officers are still searching on foot and with a drone for the missing children. A photo of Metilus was not immediately available.
