Indiana Fever gets a twist with Stranger Things jersey design

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Fever is collaborating with the Netflix show Stranger Things to relaunch their jerseys in coordination with the fifth and final season of the series set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana.




The limited-edition jerseys feature the Fever's classic red with a retro twist. The new look is black with specks of red, Demogorgon claw accents, and '011' on the waistband of the shorts. The script on the team shirt is in the Stranger Things font.

"This jersey represents the fierce spirit of our team and the fearless energy of Stranger Things - two forces that never back down," said Amber Cox, Indiana Fever Chief Operating Officer and General Manager.




"As we celebrate our team and the cultural phenomenon that is Stranger Things, we're thrilled to bring back this awesome collaboration with Netflix."  




The Fever is set to play with the themed jersey for 6 games, including 5 home games and 1 away game. Their first game with the jerseys will be on Thursday, July 24, against the Las Vegas Aces at Gainbridge.

• July 30 vs. Phoenix





• August 9 vs. Chicago





• August 12 vs. Dallas





• August 26 vs. Seattle





• August 29 at Los Angeles





• September 9 vs. Minnesota

Stranger Things uniforms first debuted in 2021 in an effort to blend basketball and pop culture as part of the WNBA's Nike Rebel Edition series.




The Stranger Things series finale will debut with volume 1, which featured four episodes, on Netflix on November 26. The volume two, which features three episodes, will debut on Christmas. The last episode will be on New Years Eve. All shows will release at 8 p.m. eastern time.
