INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana has been named the state with the best roads in the United States.




Yes, you read that right.




The Hoosier State, known as the Crossroads of America, earned the top spot for the best road quality, according to a report from the U.S. News & World Report.




The ranking was based on the percentage of road miles considered to be in poor condition in each state, according to the Federal Highway Administration.
