Indiana State Fair reveals last wave of free concerts

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana State Fair revealed the final free concerts for 2025.

The lineup includes an actor-turned-musician, a Beatles tribute and an award-winning Christian artist.

All shows are included with paid fair admission and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Concerts are scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

Here's a look at the newly announced acts:

Indiana State Fair DJ Night featuring B-Swift (Tuesday, August 5)

Born and raised on the west side of "the 317," B-Swift began his radio career as an intern (with Big Swole) at Hot 963. His work in the studios and the streets gave him the opportunity to become the host of the weekend mix show called "the Chop Shop." B-Swift's tireless work and experience helped earn him a spot as Hot963's night time personality, rockin' out 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. weeknights.

Thomas Nicholas Band (Saturday, August 9)

Thomas Nicholas may be most familiar to fans as Thomas Ian Nicholas, the star of "Rookie of the Year," "A Kid in King Arthur's Court" and the "American Pie" series. Now the frontman for a high-energy rock group, he's spent the last 15 years playing more than 1,200 shows in 13 countries with Thomas Nicholas Band (TNB). A screening of "Rookie of the Year" will precede the concert.

Chris Tomlin (Sunday, August 10)

Winner of multiple honors, include a Grammy, Billboard Music Awards, Dove Awards and more, Chris Tomlin has scored 21 No. 1 radio singles and 30 top-ten hits. In 2016, he became one of only four artists ever to receive the Sound Exchange Digital Radio Award for over 1 billion digital radio streams, alongside Justin Timberlake, Pitbull and Garth Brooks.

Happy Together Tour '25 (Wednesday, August 13)

The tour brings together six acts famous for hits in the '60s and '70s: The Turtles, Jay & The Americans, Little Anthony, Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, The Vogues and The Cowsills. The tour has been around in multiple incarnations since 1984, although The Turtles have been a constant. The acts perform about 50 shows a year.

1964 The Tribute (Saturday, August 16)

1964 The Tribute, a captivating musical journey that faithfully recreates the magic of The Beatles in their iconic 1960 era, is coming to the Indiana State Fair. The show aims to recapture the thrill of the Fab Four's live shows with an authentic recreation of '60s-era Beatlemania.

Gospel Music Festival Featuring Marvin Sapp (Sunday, August 17)

Marvin Sapp has been making chart-topping gospel music for decades. The 13-time Grammy nominee is the recipient of 24 Stellar Awards, 2 Soul Train Music Awards, 2 BET Awards, 4 Dove Awards and 8 BMI Songwriter's Awards. "Never Would Have Made It" spent 47 weeks on the radio airplay charts and remains one of the longest-running No. 1 songs in any genre. It earned Associated Press Song of the Year in 2008.
