
MARION, Ind. - A person was killed during a police shooting in Marion on Sunday.
Indiana State Police confirmed that troopers were investigating the shooting as of 7:15 p.m. Sunday evening. State police did not specify exactly when the shooting happened or which agencies were involved in it.
Per ISP, a person was killed during the shooting. No law enforcement officers were injured in the shooting.
A FOX59/CBS4 crew located a large crime scene in the area of 36th and Washington Streets in Marion on Sunday night. Police were seen setting down evidence markers and speaking with members of the general public. FOX59/CBS4's crew also spotted a law enforcement vehicle with a broken back windshield at the scene.
