According to a news release from the Indiana Department of Transportation, lane closures are expected to begin on I-465 between I-70 and 38th Street starting Thursday evening. The closures are due to planned concrete restoration work.
The release said the closures are planned as follows:
- Thursday through Sunday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Right lane closed on I-465 southbound between 10th Street and I-70
- April 28-May 4 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Left two-to-three lanes closed on I-465 northbound between I-70 and 38th Street
- May 5-May 11 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Two right lanes closed on I-465 northbound between I-70 and 38th Street
Officials said that the lane closures will extend around two miles at a time and are expected to change locations within project limits as work progresses.
