
INDIANAPOLIS - IndyCar's 2026 season will include 17 races, with each one being nationally televised.
The NTT IndyCar Series will race on three consecutive weekends to open the season in March. IndyCar will again hold two races at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, hitting the road course on May 9 and returning to the historic oval on May 24 for the Indianapolis 500.
Telecasts will return to FOX, which saw a 27% boost in ratings from the previous season. The 2025 season marked the first carried by the network.
"Our growth is industry-leading and will only accelerate faster as we continue our powerful partnership with FOX Sports and increase investment in our events," Penske Entertainment Corp. President and CEO Mark Miles said. "The 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES schedule provides a dynamic showcase for our sport and its stars, blending fan-favorite race weekends with incredible showcases at exciting new venues. We cannot wait for 2026."
The season includes six oval courses, six road courses and five street circuits. Oval races at World Wide Technology Raceway and Nashville Superspeedway will be prime-time affairs, with drivers racing under the lights.
New events include the Phoenix Raceway and the Streets of Arlington. The season starts in Florida and ends in California.
