ISP: 1 dead after crash in Warren County


WARREN COUNTY, Ind. -- One person was pronounced dead after a reported crash in Warren County on Friday evening, according to a news release from the Indiana State Police.




Just after 10 p.m. on Friday, officials responded to a two-vehicle crash on State Road 28 near County Road E 50 South.




The release said a 2025 Ram 2500 was traveling eastbound on State Road 28 when a 2003 Buick Park Avenue was traveling westbound. Officials said the Buick reportedly crossed over the lane and struck the Ram.








The driver of the Buick was pronounced dead on the scene by the Warren County Coroner. The release said the driver of the Ram was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.




The crash remains under investigation by the Indiana State Police's crash reconstruction team. The release said that the name of the person who died is expected to be released by the Warren County Coroner's Office.
