
SEYMOUR, Ind. (WXIN/WTTV) - A person was slightly injured by flying glass following a shooting at the Jackson County Library on Wednesday, according to Indiana State Police.
As stated in a Facebook post from the Seymour Police Department, officers were called around 12 p.m. to the Jackson County Library on the report of an active shooter. With assistance from the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, Indiana State Police and Indiana Excise Police, SPD said the shooter was quickly taken into custody.
ISP then told FOX59/CBS4 that only one slight injury was confirmed, caused by "flying glass" from the reported shooting.
Further details were not released. Neither ISP nor SPD has yet released the identity of the suspect.
