The estate was owned by the late Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay, who died in May at the age of 65. His daughters - Carlie Irsay-Gordon, Casey Foyt and Kalen Jackson - have assumed organizational control of the Colts since his death.

In a statement sent Thursday to FOX59/CBS4, the Irsay daughters commented on the potential sale of the Culver lakehouse:

"Our family's lake home in Culver has been a place of peace, joy, and connection for decades. On the shore of Lake Maxinkuckee, this property has been a quiet retreat from the busyness of life, a place where we've gathered as a family, celebrated milestones, and created some of our most cherished memories.

From sunrise boat rides to long summer evenings on the porch, every corner of the property holds a story. We learned to fish off the dock, roasted marshmallows under the stars, and shared countless laughs around the kitchen table. It's where we could simply be together, without distraction, just present with each other and nature.

While it's bittersweet to part with a home that has meant so much to us, we believe it's time for another family to experience the magic of Culver and write their own story here. This property isn't just a beautiful lakefront home, it's a place that brings people closer together. And we hope it brings the next owner just as much happiness as it has brought to us."
