BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Several Monroe County government buildings, including the Justice Center, will be closed until Thursday due to mold remediation.
Other buildings affected by the closure include Fiscus, Curry and Johnson Hardware buildings.
Due to the closure of the Justice Center, located at 7th and College, all divisions of the Monroe Circuit Court are closed until Thursday. This includes the prosecutor's office, public defender's office, probation and the clerk's office.
Anyone with a scheduled court hearing or probation appointment should reach out on Thursday and reschedule, the county said.
County officials confirmed the closure was due to mold remediation efforts. It is unclear if inmates housed within the Justice Center's jail are being moved during the closure.
