Lanes open after crash on I-70 WB in Hancock County

UPDATE (9/12/2025, 9:17 A.M.): All lanes are now open after a injury crash on I-70 westbound in Hancock County.




INDIANAPOLIS - All lanes of I-70 westbound are closed after a car crash in Hancock County on Friday morning.




According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, the crash occurred on I-70 westbound at the 106 mile marker at approximately 8:19 a.m.




The eastbound left lane has reopened after being closed for emergency vehicles.




It is unclear how long the lanes will be closed. Information will be updated as it becomes available.
