Lebanon fire burns garage, house

LEBANON, Ind. - The Salvation Army is assisting a Lebanon family after their home went up in flames on Sunday afternoon, according to the City of Lebanon Fire Department.




Crews were dispatched to the 200 block of Lakeshore Drive on Sunday at approximately 4:03 p.m. on a report of a house fire.




Upon arrival to the scene, firefighters were met with a garage that was fully engulfed in flames and spreading to the home. LFD was able to extinguish the fire in minutes.

Responders were able to retrieve personal items for the homeowner.




No injuries were sustained in the fire. The fire was determined to be accidental.




The Salvation Army of Boone County is working to assist the homeowners.
