INDIANAPOLIS - Strong storms began moving through portions of central Indiana Wednesday evening.
Around 5:50 p.m., the National Weather Service issued a Tornado Watch for a portion of south central Indiana. Among the counties impacted were Brown, Monroe, Owen and Lawrence Counties.
The storms capable of producing tornadoes are moving northeast. They are expected to move into the Indianapolis metro area between 8 and 9 p.m.
