INDIANAPOLIS - Tippecanoe County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man after a vehicle pursuit on Sunday evening.
According to a press release, 22-year-old Noah Conley was the individual police arrested at the end of chase. Deputies transported Conley to the Tippecanoe County Jail after they apprehended him.
Per a release, deputies were attempting to locate Conley before the chase because a warrant had been issued for his arrest. The warrant was related to a probation violation Conley allegedly committed.
During their search for Conley, deputies visited a residence and spoke to multiple individuals. The Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Office did not specify where the residence they visited was located. It is also unclear what relationships, if any, the individuals deputies spoke to had with Conley.
While they were talking to the unspecified individuals, Conley arrived in the area in a vehicle. Upon seeing deputies at the residence, Conley fled the scene.
After Conley left the area, deputies began to pursue him and a vehicle chase ensued. TCSO indicated that the chase lasted 25 minutes and weaved throughout the northeastern portion of Tippecanoe County.
The chase came to an end at the intersection of County Roads 300 North and 500 East. TCSO did not specify exactly how the chase came to an end. Deputies did confirm that nobody was injured during the chase.
Conley now faces the following preliminary charges for his alleged role in the chase:
- Resisting law enforcement with a vehicle creating a substantial risk of injury - a Level 5 Felony
- Obliterating identifying marks on a handgun - a Level 5 Felony
- Criminal mischief to an agricultural operation - a Level 6 Felony
- Criminal recklessness - a Class A Misdemeanor
- Reckless driving - a Class A Misdemeanor
- Driving with a suspended license - a Class A Misdemeanor
TCSO indicated the warrant for Conley's arrest was issued in Benton County. The probation terms Conley allegedly violated were related to auto theft and OWI charges, according to TCSO.
