Man dead after being crushed by lawnmower

INDIANAPOLIS - A man is dead after a tragic lawn mower incident on a steep hill, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.




Officers were dispatched to the 8800 block of Lantern Rd. on Thursday at 6:15 p.m. on a report of a death investigation.




According to police, the man was on a steep hill on a riding lawn mower when it tipped over and caused significant trauma. The victim died from the injuries sustained.




The individual was identified as 57-year-old Michael Fledderman.
