Man injured in shooting at Lawrence Walmart parking lot

INDIANAPOLIS - One man is injured after a shooting in a Walmart parking lot in Lawrence around 3 p.m.




According to the Lawrence Police Department, officers were called to the Walmart on Pendleton Pike to reports of a person shot.




Upon arrival, police found one man in the parking lot suffering from at least two gunshot wounds. Police said that the shooting was not random and may have stemmed from a robbery gone wrong.




The victim was transported to the hospital in stable condition.




No information has been released about a possible suspect and the investigation remains ongoing.
