Man shot, killed on northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS - A man died in a Tuesday morning shooting on the northeast side of Indianapolis.




According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were dispatched around 5:20 a.m. to the 4100 block of Meadows Lane.




Officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.




IMPD said a person was detained at the scene. The shooting remains under investigation.
