Marion County Coroner identifies 2 found dead at east side apartment complex

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Marion County Coroner's Office has identified the two individuals who were found dead during an investigation on Saturday morning on the east side of Indianapolis.




According to a police report, officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to an apartment complex in the 4400 block of Linwood Court on a reported death investigation.

At the scene, police reportedly found two individuals. The Marion County Coroner's Office identified them as 39-year-old Robert Simmons and 22-year-old Christianna Mendez-Heitzman.




The office stated that the cause and manner of death for both Simmons and Mendez-Heitzman are pending.
