MARION, Ind. - More than three people were shot inside an apartment in Marion on Sunday, all while a 7-year-old was present in the home.
According to the Marion Police Department, officers were called to Greentree apartments after receiving multiple calls about a shooting. Officers arriving on scene found two males suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
One of the males was airlifted to Indianapolis in critical condition while the second male's injuries were described as "non-life-threatening."
Police later learned a third shooting victim arrived at the hospital. This person was also shot multiple times and is said to be in critical condition.
A search of the apartment where the shooting allegedly unfolded uncovered multiple "AR-15" rifles, according to police. A handgun was also found in the vehicle that the third shooting victim drove to the hospital.
