Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million purchased in Avon

AVON, Ind. - A winning Mega Millions ticket was sold at a gas station in Avon ahead of Friday night's drawing.
According to a press release, a ticket worth $1 million was purchased at the Murphy USA located at 9424 East US Highway 36. The entry matched all five of the white balls pulled during Friday's drawing.
Friday's winning numbers were 15-22-31-52-57 with a Mega Ball of 2.
The Hoosier Lottery encourages all lottery winners to ensure their tickets are in safe places and consider setting up meetings with financial advisors. Officials also urge winners to call Hoosier Lottery customer service at 1-800-955-6886 for specific claim instructions.
The estimated jackpot for Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing is $344 million. Per Hoosier Lottery, Mega Millions overall odds are one in 24.
