
INDIANAPOLIS - A motorcyclist was critically injured in a crash on the west side of Indianapolis Monday evening.
Public police reporting systems indicate officers were called to the 5100 block of West Washington Street around 5 p.m. to investigate a personal injury crash. When police arrived at the scene, they located a motorcyclist and car that had been involved in a crash.
Per IMPD, medics transported the motorcycle's driver from the scene to a local hospital in critical condition. Police indicated that the car's driver remained at the scene after the crash.
Police closed West Washington Street in both directions from South Lynhurst Avenue to South Fuller Street while they investigated the crash.
