Muncie PD investigating string of overnight shootings

MUNCIE, Ind. - Police are investigating a string of overnight shootings that took place in Muncie Saturday morning.




The Delaware County Sheriff's Office confirmed they assisted the Muncie Police Department with investigations at S. Madison Street & E. Willard Street, S. Monroe Street & E. 6th Street, and S. Walnut & E. 26th Street.




Officials confirmed Muncie PD is leading the investigation into the shootings. No details about the shootings were released by authorities.
