Off to a great start this morning, as dry weather holds and a bright sunrise should be anticipated at 7:47 am. Morning temperatures will hold in the upper 50s and lower 60s, for the morning rush hour, be sure to have those sunglasses.
By this afternoon, clouds will thicken in spots and scattered showers (40%) will begin to develop across the state. A few storms should be expected too, with a heavier downpour, in a few locations. Expect highs in the lower 80s with winds from the south at 10-15 mph. No severe weather expected but some lightning could be in the mix or small hail.
This evening and overnight will remain a bit unsettled with passing showers and storms, as temperatures remain mild, with lows in the middle 60s.
Tuesday will bring additional showers and a few storms with the cold front passage! This will usher in a cooler flow on breezier northwest winds at 10-17 mph. Highs tomorrow will reach the middle 70s, while rain tapers off by the evening from west to east.
Midweek will bring us back to fall weather...October weather, along with plenty of dry days! Although cooler and refreshing, more rainfall would be nice, as the drought lingers...
